JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a compelling opportunity for a strong communications project manager to help shape the client experience, manage multiple client communication projects, and make recommendations to improve the process for both clients and internal partners.
As an EMEA Client Communications Manager in IPB Marketing & Communications team you will be responsible for the development, project management and delivery of regulatory, contractual, tax, change management and ad-hoc client communications on behalf of the International Private Bank in the EMEA region. This includes coordinating and project managing communication projects across multiple platforms in EMEA, including Geneva.
You must work effectively in a fast-paced environment, as this role requires close collaboration with multiple teams including legal, compliance, and other business functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Excellent English writing, editing and proof-reading skills
  • Relevant experience in communications field, preferably within the finance or technology industries; and the ability to simplify complex subjects
  • Project/change/communications management experience in financial services (private/premier/retail banking, cards, insurance, or asset management) is preferred
  • Good understanding of industry regulations, governance, or investments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; adhere to deadlines, deliver results and can work independently
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and align across cross-functional teams, while interacting with multiple stakeholders
  • High level of independence, energy, and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and accepts accountability and responsibility; commitment to maintaining the firm’s high standards related to risk, compliance, and the Code of Conduct
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, manages and executes multiple EMEA client communication projects under tight deadlines in both digital and print formats every month
  • Collaborates with business and marketing partners (Business Management, Investments, various Project Teams, Legal, Compliance & Client Service, Technology and ITO). Interpret the needs of the business and specific requirements for each communication project
  • Owns the EMEA communications calendar and production schedule and coordinate multiple communication projects to ensure simultaneous projects stay on schedule and meet tight deadlines. Brief necessary stakeholders/internal/external vendors
  • Helps define and shape the digital communications strategy for the future
  • Reports on all developments and lead project calls with internal/external stakeholders. Communicating progress to the IPB Client Communications team and relevant stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are being met
  • Produces monthly communications using the Client Communications Application and help make future developments by working with stakeholders within technology to continually improve processes
  • Oversights of quality control procedures of all communications and data and sign off on final mailing components
  • Collaborates with colleagues as part of the translation process where necessary
