Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in Eastern Canada and US markets.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager and working collaboratively with our executive team, the Client Development Specialist will generate sales opportunities by networking, seeking, and developing new business relationships. The role will have a focus on selling to healthcare, associations, and energy organizations. As a strong communicator, you’ll build effective relationships with external stakeholders to ensure aligned outcomes and project success in becoming their preferred partner in learning services and strategies.
AT THE CORE OF THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Focus on growth by hunting for and generating net new opportunities to achieve revenue goals for our learning services.
WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Build a strong understanding of Onlea’s services and offerings
- Acquire new clients that will benefit from Onlea’s services and meet target KPIs
- Identify and engage with potential clients by contacting them through various connection methods.
- Utilize your existing network, and seek new networks and generate new sales opportunities
- Work with Onlea’s Client Development Manager to create and present service proposals and quotes
- Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs, and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business opportunities, and providing a high level of service
- Represent Onlea in lead generation efforts including networking events, conferences, meetups, etc.
- Record and report activities through the sales pipeline
