As a Client Engagement Specialist (CES), you will play a critical role in lead generation, prospecting, and deal origination, helping businesses explore solar energy solutions. This position is ideal for someone with a proven track record in business development or B2B sales who is eager to transition into the booming renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and engage potential commercial clients interested in solar and energy solutions.
  • Research and qualify leads based on various criteria including energy usage and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and various outreach strategies to schedule appointments.

Pipeline Development & Client Engagement:

  • Secure initial consultations with business decision-makers.
  • Gather key project data, including utility bills, to support accurate project quoting.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions in the CRM system.

Industry Exposure & Growth:

  • Gain deep knowledge of solar incentives, net metering, and project feasibility.
  • Work alongside senior sales and marketing teams to refine targeting strategies.
  • Develop expertise in the commercial solar market, positioning yourself for advancement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, cold calling, lead generation, or B2B sales.
  • A proven ability to initiate cold conversations with decision-makers and generate interest.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow-up skills.
  • Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and cleantech.
  • Experience in energy, construction, or commercial real estate sales is a plus but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
