QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Alberta Level 2 License is required
- CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting new clients in various forms including cold calling, networking events, association events, social media and other forms of sales activity
- Sales and negotiations of contracts with insurers
- Managing client relationships
- Managing claims with clients and insurers
- Travel as required to insurer, client or association events
- Representing and promoting Rogers Insurance to potential clients at trade shows
- Responsible for collection and management of all accounts receivable related to clients
- Managing and working with assigned associate staff to meet the needs of clients and insurers
- Developing presentation and marketing material as required
