Description:
GENERAL INDUSTRIES
We are seeking a driven Client Executive to join our expanding General Industries team in Toronto. In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and be responsible for business development and managing client relationships, driving sales and ensuring client satisfaction while supporting business growth.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing sales to meet targets
- Establish and maintain long-term networks and relationships with clients
- Collaborate with internal sales producers to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and generate leads through networking and referrals
- Assist producers with client management, networking, and business development activities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and prospects, providing exceptional service and resolving issues as they arise
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to existing clients
- Participate in sales presentations, negotiations and meetings to showcase products and services
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Conduct risk assessments, review insurance portfolios, and recommend suitable coverage options
- Gather and analyze data on potential markets, clients and sales opportunities
- Support clients with the claims process when needed
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MEETS THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in account management in the insurance or financial industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field would be an asset
- Licensed as Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and/or Canadian Risk Management (CRM) would be assets
- Proven ability to manage and grow client accounts
- Self-motivated and team-oriented, with strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Curious and eager to learn, with a strong desire to continuously improve and expand industry knowledge and skills
- Solid understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Proficient with insurance management software such as EPIC
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Results-driven, customer-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
