Client Finance Analyst
6 month FTC
Incisive Health are looking for a Client Finance Analyst to work on a 6m FTC to provide support in all aspects of project accounting. This position is a hybrid position, with 2 days based from our central London office. The Client Finance Analyst will report into the Finance Business Partner.

Financial accounting responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist with the month-end close process, including, but not limited to, revenue recognition, pass through expenses review, revenue re-forecasting and reporting.
  • Responsible for managing the setup of new projects, updating project statuses, project scope adjustments and time moves.
  • Responsible for responding to ad hoc queries from client teams providing support on all finance matters, delegating up or down as appropriate.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly revenue report to show financial position of the businesses.
  • Manage monthly invoicing, ensuring client invoices are raised in line with contract terms and billing schedule.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly close calendar deadlines to ensure all billing is processed in a timely manner.
  • Review aged accrued revenue and follow up on unbilled projects/missing purchase orders.
  • Liaise with the credit controller to reduce aged debt and unallocated cash.
  • Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations and other ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and external statutory regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organisation and incorporate the changes as required.

Requirements for the role:

  • 1-2 years prior finance experience or finance related degree
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, SUMIF, INDEX and MATCH)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, especially non-financial staff.
  • Self-motivated with a professional approach
  • Flexible and willing to work in “hands on” manner to ensure all tasks are completed on a timely basis
