    ST&A Psychology is a professional private practice based in Manly Vale. Established in 2005, the practice brings quality individual, relationship and family therapy to adults, children, and adolescents with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, disorders of behaviour (ODD, ADHD), adjustment, mood, psychosis, personality, addiction, as well as problems with parenting, grief, self-esteem, eating, body image, stress, pain, chronic health issues and satisfaction with life. Our team consists of 7 psychologists and 3 admin team members.
    We have Casual, permanent full-time and Part Time roles available different days per week (Monday-Saturday). The successful candidate will be required to work 8:00am-3pm or 4pm; and/or 1130am – 700pm. Salary is dependent on experience and skills. The job title is Client + Referrer Liaison, Reception, Admin, PA + Marketing Officer.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Must naturally want to help people, be a caring person who can empathise with others, and want to improve processes and systems.
  • Competent in PC admin, windows, word, excel, outlook.
  • Able to work autonomously and take initiative as well as work collaboratively within the team
  • Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills.
  • Client liaison/customer service experience important
  • We are looking for a genuine, caring, flexible, reliable, patient, punctual, enthusiastic, motivated individual who likes a challenge and learning/growing and who is interested in psychology and helping people.
  • At least two recent references from previous employers are required.

Responsibilities:

The role is an interesting, fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing one with various components. Includes various tasks such as new referral intakes, booking and managing all appointments across 8 clinician’s diaries using PowerDiary (online diary system), waiting room duties and office tasks such as greeting all clients, phone calls, emails, client payments, issuing of receipts, processing rebates, typing of letters, preparing and sending out of reports, preparing files and managing documents, collecting mail. Managing the practice website, online and print media/marketing, liaising with GP and psychiatry practices, organising and managing meetings/lunches and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and external services. You will also be PA to the clinical director for extra admin tasks as required and will report directly to both the Practice Manager and Clinical Director.
