CLIENT MANAGER | CANBERRA
We are seeking a Client Manager to join our National Team in Canberra, which specialises in the delivery of best-in-class risk management solutions for top-tier mid-market clients. We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network.
Our Client Manager is responsible for providing best in class service for a key portfolio of diverse commercial clients and will work closely with their team members to implement strategies which focus on growth and retention of the team portfolio. This role is considered a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with regional leadership to drive positive results in the region.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS
This position will suit a someone with the following experience:
- Previous experience as an Insurance Broker
- Demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range of Commercial Insurance products.
- Hold Tier 1 Qualifications in Insurance
- Excellent client relationship management capabilities.
- Experience or interest in mentorship and/or team leadership.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial flair with demonstrated new business success.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant working experience.
- Organisational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a diverse portfolio of clients across the general insurance space.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships and enhancing the client experience.
- Identifying development opportunities for your designated portfolio and design of appropriate servicing solutions.
- Developing new and profitable business within the Commercial segment.
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Commercial business.
- Achieving your renewal and new business budget.
- Mentorship and development of team members within the region
