At Belmond, we are looking for a Client Manager – Italy & Southeast Europe to join our Southern Europe Sales Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a sales or client management role, ideally in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury business, with exceptional selling and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly detail-oriented.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Opera, Oracle, and Power BI.
  • Availability for travel across the assigned territory.
  • Familiarity with both B2B and B2C distribution channels and strategies.

Responsibilities:

B2C Segment

  • Develop new guest relationships and introduce them to the Belmond brand.
  • Enhance existing guest experiences by driving cross-portfolio sales opportunities.
  • Lead a Key Source City Market Strategy from Milan, with a focus on increasing direct bookings.
  • Host consumer events and engage in personalized 1-to-1 client activities.
  • Create quarterly sales action plans and annual end consumer strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with property teams, including sales, reservations, and revenue management, to align efforts and close sales leads.
  • Promote seasonal offers and shoulder-season revenue initiatives for the Belmond portfolio.
  • Actively engage with social media and support corporate marketing communications.

B2B Segment (Trade & Corporate)

  • Build and nurture relationships with key trade and corporate accounts, focusing on segments like Automotive, Finance, and Sports (e.g., Formula 1 teams, football clubs).
  • Conduct product training for partners and represent Belmond at trade shows, roadshows, and client events.
  • Host educational trips to Belmond properties for key partners and accounts.
  • Develop and implement quarterly and annual account management plans to secure revenue growth.
  • Establish partnerships with industry stakeholders, including tourism boards, airlines, and DMCs.

General

  • Analyze market trends, client productivity, and performance metrics using tools like Power BI.
  • Maintain a clean and updated client database, ensuring all sales activities are logged promptly.
  • Prepare sales reports and contribute to the Divisional Sales Team’s monthly updates.
  • Ensure alignment with Belmond’s core values: Care, Confidence, Curiosity, and Community.
