Description:

Trustmarque occupies an enviable position in the public sector marketplace, supporting hundreds of customers as a trusted contributor across their digital, data and technology transformation programmes. We provide specialist accredited expertise, design and co-create innovative solutions and collaborate with strategic partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, AWS. IBM etc. to deliver tangible business outcomes.
But we want to achieve more. Moving forward and backed by significant investment, we are strengthening the focus and execution of the business by realigning sales operations regionally to ensure they map directly to our customers’ local place-based devolved agenda, citizens and communities.
We are currently recruiting for a Client Manager to engage/develop local government customers and supporting agencies, in the UK. This is a key hire, for an individual who wants to join an established team and is highly motivated to unlock new opportunities, develop strategic relationships, secure new logos and make a material difference to our customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

This is a blended role, including managing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for existing customers and generating/closing opportunities with new named customers.

  • Creates focussed account capture and development plans for named/new clients to maximise opportunity, including multi-level contact strategies for structured engagement and predictable business development.
  • Builds effective tactical and strategic level relationships with named clients and maintains an intimate understanding of their business, regional initiatives and networks.
  • Establishes a strong pipeline of well qualified business opportunities, evidencing understanding and control of customer buying criteria and process.
  • Acts as the client’s single point of contact, assisting in the formation of business enabling IT strategies, providing them with access to senior management and subject matter experts across Trustmarque and its partners.
  • Provides proactive client value and thought leadership to customers /prospects in respect of technology and sector trends and establishes Trustmarque as the go to partner for innovation and strategic direction.
  • Leverages existing frameworks to facilitate direct award, sole source and pace of contracting.
  • Develops effective investment/efficiency ROI modelling to evidence client financial advantage.
  • Collaborates and engages regularly with strategic partners and vendor relationships to leverage opportunities, stakeholders and in-direct networks and events.
  • Responsible for the wider commercial relationship including, but not limited to aged debt, payment and conditions of business.
