This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work virtually and/or from our Montreal office.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS
- 5 + years of relevant experience in an investment management or consulting firm;
- Experience dealing with investment managers, custodians, lawyers, compliance personnel and securities regulators;
- Experience with actuaries, consultants and insurers, an asset;
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast paced and rapidly growing department
- Focused on execution, resolving issues and management of multiple tasks efficiently
- Display sense of ownership and drive
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- French / English bilingualism is preferred due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
- Proficient with proofing skills, Word and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce
