Responsibilities:

The Client Planning Partner at iProspect will look after one of the biggest retailers in the UK and one of our top 5 dentsu clients. They will be responsible for delivering industry-leading integrated digital performance planning for one our most important brands within the agency, as well as new business. They will be responsible and accountable for commercial growth across the account and leading development and progression for the team.
Reports to: Managing Partner, Client Planning

Key objective: Drive transformative business results for our clients, resulting in client retention and satisfaction whilst ensuring commercial growth. This will be achieved by:

  • Building strong trust-based client relationships
  • Drive truly transformative business results for our clients via integrated performance planning

What Success Looks Like:

  • Client Satisfaction: Achieve TRR of 7.8 and above for the client’s portfolio
  • Financial Control: Deliver accurate revenue forecast, growth plans to achieve targets
  • Financial Success: Achieve target revenue through delivery of new and innovative solutions for our clients
  • Trusted advisor status: Be seen as a strategic partner and leader of the client’s category/business delivering on the transformative digital plan for your clients
  • Team leadership: Manage your team effectively by ensuring expectations are set and clearly communicate with teams and clients on deliverables, timing etc.
  • Positive culture: Demonstrate the iProspect values
  • Positive feedback: Positive 360 feedback from peers

Client Focus

  • Accountability for all aspects of client output from brief to billing
  • Build strong relationships with critical mid-level and senior clients
  • Support new client on boarding and represent iProspect in selected pitches as the client planning lead
  • Responsible for briefing Exec Sponsors on client specific requirements/updates

Performance Planning Focus

  • Define the role of media across performance channels in line with the strategic plan ensuring consistency of planning process
  • Specific focus on International expansion for a key retail client

People Focus

  • Line management of Client Planning Account Directors/Account Managers dependent on team structure
  • Responsibility to drive performance planning excellence through development of the team’s capabilities including training, career roadmap, and cross-agency sharing
  • Ensure that our service levels are always the best they can be and that our deliverables and campaigns continuously evolve
  • Ensure that your teams are always up to date with new tools and technologies – not limited to iProspect – and enable everyone to talk confidently and passionately about these

Commercial Focus

  • Ownership of client contracts and details in one place and up to date (alongside Commercial Director)
  • Ownership of the people/FTE plan to match client requirements and feeding this into the overall staff deployment plan and forecasting
  • Responsibility for forecasting of secured revenue, cost, and pipe by client
  • Address all operational finance and client specific working capital issues with the Ops Team

Insight & Data Led Thinking

  • Become an expert within our clients’ business sector(s), to identify key opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Maintain an awareness of client competitor digital activity and market trends
  • Owns & drives cross-channel technology and data integration to optimise the media mix
