Description:

Our client is currently recruiting a Client Protection Manager to join their growing operations team.
Job Description:
Client Protection Managers are responsible for the running of a portfolio of sites. They are the face of the company for both officers and clients, making operationally critical decisions daily.
This is a role for someone who likes variety and has the commercial acumen to manage expectations and deliver for both staff and clients. The successful Client Protection Manager embraces the company values, is a great communicator, equally at ease with clients as they are with managing officers. They are organised, can delegate to team leaders on sites, be supportive and fair but set standards which reflect the difference between Knight Protection and their competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
· People Management:

o Leading a specialist security team in support of the companies aviation contract

  • Responsible for leading and managing a team of circa 30 members of staff, ensuring they display the highest standards of professionalism
  • Managing staff welfare

o Maintaining and enforcing up-to-date knowledge of modern security practices, aviation security legislation and CAA regulations on In-Flight Safety
o Recruitment, onboarding and training of security personnel
· Client Relationship Management:
o Supporting delivery of premium security services on behalf of Knight Protection
o Managing security challenges and continually evaluating threats to clients
o Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice on security best practices
o Completing regular site plans and reports as required
o Providing advice to clients on security best practice, and continually improving security delivery
o Maintaining high personal standards as well as those of the deployed Officers
· Compliance:
o Ensuring all sites and staff are SIA/CAA/IFS and company compliant, completing regular checks to ensure continued compliance
o Dealing with the CAA and CAA knowledge of In-Flight Safety
o Managing documentation and records related to sites and staff
· Additional:
o Participation in a shared on-call rota, to assist dealing with out-of-hour queries
Requirements
Essential:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
· Client relationship management experience
· Experience of people management
· Experience of working in the private sector
· Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively
· Knowledge of the security industry and aviation security will be looked at favourably
Desirable:
· The ideal candidate would have the following skills/ qualifications:
o Professional qualification with a relevant recognised body e.g. Professional qualification with a relevant recognised body e.g. CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) or Chartered Security Professional (CSyP)
o Valid Front Line SIA licence
· Experience in CAA regulations with regards to in-flight security
· A good understanding and experience of staff rostering
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite
