SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A recognised qualification in Sales or Business Administration, or successful performance related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Current SA Driver’s licence (essential)
  • Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance (essential)
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of knowledge of the My Aged Care assessment process, Aged Care legislation, services and supports (essential)
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, with a proven ability to deliver high-level customer service and convert leads into sales
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders (both internal & external)
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to delivering great client experiences, focused on meeting the needs of the client.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Join UnitingSA’s Aged Care team as a Client Relations Consultant, covering parental leave and reporting to the Client Engagement and Relationship Manager you will deliver a person-centred approach to the initial enquiry, providing financial information to enable the decision and coordinate the pre-admission process to ensure an exceptional, supported customer experience. You will contribute to an outstanding standard of occupancy rates across all five of our Aged Care Facilities whilst maintaining efficient work process and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service for all aged care enquiries
  • Communicate comprehensive knowledge of available supports
  • Deliver person-centred service with compassion and empathy
  • Provide personalised guidance on care options in Residential Care
  • Explain financial and contractual requirements clearly
  • Offer ongoing support throughout the admission process
  • Ensure seamless transitions into care
  • Obtain required documentation via My Aged Care portal
  • Maintain enquiries and referral lists for timely placements
  • Maximise leads to meet occupancy targets
  • Liaise with referrers to support timely patient placement
  • Coordinate and conduct site tours as required
