Description:

Mission of the role:
To support the Asia Distribution team in the sales, marketing and client activities for the Asian Institutional market.

Key tasks and outputs:

  • To support the Asia Distribution team in the development of business development opportunities across key markets and client segments.
  • To continually perform market intelligence with the Asia Distribution team on competitors, clients, new/core markets, and product trends.
  • To support the Asia Distribution team to track and follow-up pre and post meetings’ opportunities.
  • To assist in preparation and liaise with relevant teams to ensure RFIs, RFPs, Due Diligence Questionnaire, presentations, and related portfolio documents are provided to clients and prospective clients in timely manner.
  • Be the primary liaison between the Asia Distribution team and internal stakeholders ie. RFP, marketing, product, legal and compliance team to ensure smooth process and tasks assigned are followed through.
  • To assist with managing the Asia distribution team’s calendars, meeting invites (internal and external), booking of travels (flights and accommodation), expense submission, and CRM data integrity.
  • Responsible for organizing the logistics on Asia Distribution team’s roadshows, marketing trips, business luncheons/ breakfasts, sponsored investment forums and events.
  • To assist the Asia distribution team with preparation of clients’ and prospects’ meetings ie. printing and binding of presentation decks, RFP materials, due diligence booklets, White Papers etc.

Education requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
  • Degree qualification desirable

Experience requirements:

  • Sound understanding of the Asset management industry including investment management.
  • Sound technical investment/market knowledge across multiple asset classes
