DESIRED SKILLS
- Commerce Graduates MBAs with work experience in Banking Capital Markets space handling similar roles in Securities Instruments Reference Data domain
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skill Open for working in high pressure environment
- Expert usage of Market Data vendors viz Bloomberg Thomson Reuters GMI Sungard Telekurs Six FI etc
- 4 to 5 years experience in Securities Instruments Reference data functions like Security Master Pricing
Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
- This position of a Consultant is for a role of a Client Relationship Manager CRM within the Instrument Data Management Services department which services the Instruments Product Reference Data requirements of the Client organization
- This role in our Operations function requires coordination between the Offshore and Data consumers teams within client organization to handle escalations alongside performing data and price maintenance data quality checks and the associated controls checks
- The data is used across the client bank to facilitate many processes and functions such as execute and book trades and settle trades client and regulatory reporting risk finance etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle Level 1 escalations from data consumers on completeness timelines and correctness of Instruments Securities Static data
- Responsible for performing static data analysis and update application for various Financial Products with External Internal counterparts
- Understanding client s requirement for setup on various securities on system updating various price quotes and corporate action details on application
- Performing the activities maintaining require levels of Accuracy and TATs
- Review edit and approve the Standard Operating Procedure documents as necessary and strictly adhere to them when handling static data requests
- Assess the impact of system changes on operational processes and provide the sign off accordingly
- Prepare the test cases and participate in the UAT Regression and Go live testing of system changes when required
- Exceed customer expectations and work towards building a world class operations environment
