Your role
At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.
You’ll be a part of our Marketing & Client Services team based in Sydney or Melbourne. Our team’s overarching goal is to drive growth for the firm by building, enhancing and protecting our brand, networks and relationships. As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of the firm’s most significant and valued client relationships, including developing and implementing client strategies to ensure the firm’s relationships with its key clients continue to strengthen and grow.

You will also be responsible for:

  • developing a strong understanding of your clients, including their business strategies, their industries, their people and key decision makers, and sharing this understanding across the firm.
  • developing and implementing engagement plans for key buyers and influencers across your clients.
  • conducting regular client feedback to spot opportunities and ensure that Allens is delivering consistently excellent service to clients.
  • coaching partners, lawyers and practice executives on best practice client relationship management and the role each of them has to play in enhancing the client experience, strengthening client relationships and growing work
  • building your own strong relationships across the client’s organisation to help ensure the client’s needs are being met.
  • driving efficient and connected client teams: maintaining routine and momentum to strengthen and grow client relationships.

About you

You will:

  • have previous experience as a dedicated client relationship manager, preferably in professional services;
  • have the ability to manage multiple clients with proven results in developing strong client relationships, and identifying and driving opportunities that directly contribute to revenue;
  • have the ability to think strategically and question the status quo;
  • have superior communication, facilitation and project management skills;
  • be politically astute, with experience working in a highly complex stakeholder environment and ability to influence and exercise sound judgement when making key decisions;
  • proactively bring ideas and foster an innovative culture that helps create more value for clients;
  • be a strong collaborator, with the ability to bring people together to build momentum and deliver results;
  • have energy, enthusiasm, good humour and a commitment to excellence.
