WHAT IT’S ABOUT
Partners Group is seeking a Client Relationship Support Professional to join our Client Solutions sales/marketing team based in London with a focus on the institutional investor landscape in the UK & Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a background in investment management or a similar relevant field. Prior knowledge of private markets is preferred but not essential.
As part of the role, you will work closely with senior members of the team to provide support to the ongoing maintenance of existing client relationships, and in driving new business across institutional investors and investment consultants. The role will include preparing client presentations, thoughtful client pitches, and responding to ad-hoc investor queries. Additionally, you will be involved in ongoing deliverables, market intelligence and research to support the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry, ideally gained within private markets, but candidates with experience in as asset / fund management or investment banking / consulting will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Independently support senior team members with preparation for client meetings and detailed due diligence sessions. This includes compiling convincing bespoke marketing presentations and investment proposals, as well as the coordination of internal parties to deliver customized content
- Execute timely preparation and follow up for client meetings and calls with approved marketing collateral
- Creating tailored, persuasive and high-quality responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates
- Acting as a first point of contact for the client by coordinating and liaising with various teams and specialists within the firm
- Build professional and technical knowledge to streamline and accelerate workflows
- Coordinate the whole process related to, as well as, provide convincing and well-justified inputs to request for proposals (RFPs)
- Supporting the on-boarding process for clients, involving liaising with both internal and external counterparties
- Become an expert in private markets and Partners Group’s platform, products and investment strategies across asset classes
