Your opportunity

  • Generate and compile investment reporting packages from multiple financial data systems.
  • Validate and format reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and a professional aesthetic.
  • Distribute reports to internal and external clients [including their consultants, custodians, auditors, etc.] for use in performance-related analysis and client reviews.
  • Work closely with IT to produce, improve, and automate the reporting process.
  • Evaluate reporting requirements from clients to build reports that meet their needs accordingly.
  • Improve our clients’ reporting experience by soliciting guidance from business partners across the firm.
  • Perform vendor-related activities as it relates to quality control, issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Research and resolve client issues and questions by maximizing resources such as our reporting systems, subject matter experts across the company, your industry knowledge, and your troubleshooting skills.
  • Distribute regulatory reporting documents (audited financial statements, K-1, ADV, etc.).
  • Collaborate with US team members on Subadvised compliance reporting, which may include the following: Broker commission, attestation letters, oversight questionnaires, certification of compliance.
  • Collaborate with US team members to notify Subadvised Clients of trade errors (risk events), SEC audits, material changes to Code of Ethics, Form ADV updates, annual compliance program 206(4)-7 and 38a-1 Reports, proxy voting procedures and exception votes, pending legal matters, fair valued securities, and respond to Clients’ ad hoc requests.
  • Assist with departmental projects, system implementation and enhancements.
  • May be required on short notice to work outside of “regular” business hours which may include evening/weekends.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills

  • Motivated self-starter with an eye towards efficiency, automation, and client experience excellence.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments/projects

  • Knowledge of database structure and data mapping
  • Intermediate knowledge of mutual funds/financial services industry
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel with proficiencies in Word and PowerPoint

Nice to have skills

  • Financial services experience preferred, but not required.
  • Financial information systems experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a client support role or equivalent preferred
  • Programming experience in SQL and/or VBA preferred but not required.
  • Advanced Excel experience including using vlookups and pivot tables required.
