Your opportunity
As a Client Reporting Senior Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of the Client Reporting team, ensuring the delivery and evolution of reporting for Institutional and Retail Clients, Consultants, and Research Houses. This role demands a blend of accuracy in data validation, excellence in customer service, and innovation in reporting processes.
The Client Reporting Senior Specialist role sits within the Client Reporting team in Australia and is responsible for the delivery of reporting to Institutional Clients, Retail Clients, Consultants and Research Houses discussed in detail below:
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and manage the timeliness and accuracy of data delivery across internal reporting platforms.
- Generate, compile, and oversee the production of investment reporting for both institutional and retail clients using in-house and external systems.
- Work closely with global IT, Operational Change groups, and the Client Relationship Team to enhance reporting systems and address client inquiries effectively.
- Evaluate client reporting requirements and solicit business partner insights to improve the client reporting experience.
- Identify efficiencies and convert recurring manual reporting tasks to automated processes.
- Assist with departmental projects, system improvements, and regulatory reporting.
- Engage in global initiatives, interacting with teams across different time zones, outside of core business hours such as the UK, USA and Asia.

Must have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in client reporting or a similar role within financial services.
- Strong technical skills, including VBA, Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Detailed understanding of financial instruments and the major investment markets, with a focus on both the Australian and global financial services marketplace.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Highly articulate with a strong ability to build relationships across investment and distribution teams.
- Strong desire to “roll sleeves up” and work as part of a small team for the ‘greater good’ of the company; showing flexibility and a shared desire to achieve results
