A leading US private bank is seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to provide Operations support for the Australia Wealth Management business, including client on/offboarding and trade life-cycle events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
- RG146 certification (or commitment to obtain it)
- Preferred experience in a similar role, especially in wealth management or financial planning
- Familiarity with domestic and international broking platforms
- Experience with portfolio management platforms like Praemium is a plus
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – Fluent in Mandarin
- Resilient with the ability to prioritize tasks and goal-oriented with a drive for initiative

Responsibilities:
- Manage all administrative inquiries from clients.
- Oversee the client onboarding process, including the preparation of account documentation and the creation of client records in MSWM systems.
- Organize and maintain client accounts and records in compliance with current AML/CTF and KYC regulations.
- Handle the allocation management for IPOs and corporate actions.
- Prepare client valuations, asset allocations, and reports as needed.
- Assist with domestic and international client asset transfers, including cash.
- Process and monitor stock settlements, following up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
- Prioritize requests from advisers in a fast-paced environment.
- Support logistics and planning for client events organized by The Asia Practice.
- Provide translation assistance for marketing materials as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and departments.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives within the department.
- Engage in process development projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proactively communicate any issues to clients and financial advisers, recommending solutions and timelines.
- Adhere to the ethical standards outlined in the Company Code of Conduct.
- Comply with company policies, as well as regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Familiarity with US and UK tax forms such as W8BEN and CRS is preferred.
- Understanding of Opt-In, FDS, and Client Consent forms (e.g., FOFA) is also preferred.
