Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience required
  • Proven track-record of successfully managing accounts or sales, with at least 3 years of experience in account management
  • Occasional travel within Alberta (once a week on average). Access to a vehicle and valid drivers license required.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management, account planning and general sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business operational effectiveness and continuation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
  • Drivers license and use of personal transportation required

Responsibilities:

  • This role requires strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and activities.
  • Understand the unique needs and objectives of each key account and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, compliance, IT to ensure successful execution of client projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, legislative requirements, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed about changes that may impact key accounts and our business.
  • Prepare and present reports to operations, providing insights and recommendations for meeting SLAs and increasing business.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our value proposition and strengthen relationships with key clients.
  • Represent the company at meetings, industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services and expand our network of key clients.
