Client Service Officer
Job Summary
The successful candidate will act as primary client contact for a portfolio of clients. This role will provide the candidate with exposure to all aspects of client service, including responding to client queries, the on-boarding of new funds/clients and ad hoc project work. It is a unique role that requires an understanding of how different departments and geographical locations within State Street interact and work together to service our clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for portfolio of clients
- Build effective working relationship with clients, based on mutual respect and trust
- Ensure excellent level of service provided to clients at all times
- Ensure timely escalation of any client issues as required
- Point of receipt for all Client change requests; log and work with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of change agenda for clients.
- Management of Client Reporting process
- Manage the on-boarding of additional clients/funds as required
- Log and resolve client queries, involving other internal departments as needed, in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that sufficient controls are in place and consistently followed for all client service processes
- Help foster culture of collaboration with colleagues, clients and external parties
- Run and maintain log of client service calls and action logs
- Attendance at client board meetings as required
- Ad hoc projects as directed
- Work as part of a client service team, covering for colleagues as required.
Qualifications
- Primary Degree or a Professional or Accounting qualification or equivalent.
- Significant experience working in the financial Services Industry, preferably with direct exposure to working with clients.
