The Comparator Associate Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and communication of projects for the sourcing of comparator products. Working closely with Sourcing Specialists and supply chain coordination team members, you will ensure that services are delivered flawlessly and meet both customer’s and Fisher’s high-quality standards.
Serving as a key contact for clients, you will play a vital role in delivering prompt and accurate communication and information regarding comparator projects. Responsibilities include offering guidance on sourcing strategies, generating quotes for customers, and ensuring timely product readiness for the study or as per customer requirements. This position will be located in Allschwil, Switzerland.

Your Tasks:

  • Collaborate with customers or internal team members to comprehend project parameters and limitations, documenting and categorizing them within internal platforms.
  • Evaluate sourcing alternatives, selecting the most suitable solution for the customer and preparing quotes.
  • Maintain close communication with customers or internal team members until a final decision is reached, ensuring that internal databases are updated as needed.
  • Prepare and collect documentation for the handover of confirmed projects to the Supply Chain team, ensuring proper updates to customers regarding project advancement and completion.
  • Maintain and share an overview of ongoing projects with customers through various platforms, leading discussions and providing status updates.
  • Act as a deputy for other Project Managers on an ad hoc basis.
  • Support other Project Managers as required and participate in customer and supplier meetings.
  • Ensure knowledge of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s policies, terms and conditions, and support company goal tree.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good level of advanced education (bachelor’s degree) or commercial education and experience in a similar role.
  • Multi-tasker, detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Excellent Organizational and customer relationship skills. Sense of Urgency. Able to prioritize. Ability to work independently within an international matrix organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge in the area of Clinical trials and pharmaceuticals logistics is a plus
