Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible for creating, vetting, completing, and escalating (as needed) of incidents/requests entered into the service management system, maintains inventory system for both equipment check-out and asset management, and escalate issues in a timely fashion. Provides front line tech support complementing and mentoring the student technology workforce. Collaboration with other IT team members to resolve technical issues is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates degree with 2-3 years in a technical service desk environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.
  • Install, configure, customize to established specifications desktop workstations, application software, and peripheral devices for office, lab, and mobile use.
  • Use equipment request system, delivery and setup of audiovisual and other technologies for internal and external events as requested and required.
  • Setup and maintain classroom technology.
  • Assist instructors and users of equipment on proper use.
  • Document and update solutions and create knowledge base articles as needed.
