POLITICO Europe is seeking a smart, strategic, and motivated Client Solutions Director to join our pioneering and growing media company. A member of the Media Solutions team, the Client Solutions Director plays an integral role in the development and delivery of proposals, media planning, and project management with POLITICO’s partners for cross-platform campaigns including digital, brand content, events, and custom reports. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading client and program management in the post-sale across a portfolio of POLITICO’s strategic advertising clients.
You will manage a team within Client Solutions responsible for the execution of client campaigns and partnerships, working closely with the client and our internal teams to ensure a seamless experience and a successful campaign. You will also partner with our business development team to help shape custom and strategic proposals where needed and partner with our internal product strategy teams to help ensure our client offerings are meeting expectations and remaining competitive.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of relevant experience in advertising or marketing/communications, with direct client and project management
- Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with the ability to craft project plans and proactively manage multiple deadlines
- Experience managing and overseeing junior staff
- Sales acumen and data mindset to identify client trends and opportunities for incremental revenue
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Sense of humour
- Understanding of European political and policy processes is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead one of the Client Solutions teams responsible for post-sale campaign execution. This includes managing 1-2 Client Solutions Associates/Managers in their day-to-day project management of client programs to ensure we meet the client’s and POLITICO’s organizational needs and expectations
- Lead relationship management and campaign delivery with clients regarding various aspects of their integrated campaigns, such as brand content, events, and custom reports.
- Partner with POLITICO’s Business Development team in the pre-sale phase to develop campaigns and package custom solutions for strategic clients
- Coordinate with stakeholders across POLITICO who are involved in the launch and production of your client campaigns, including Advertising Operations, our brand content and live events production teams, and editorial
- Oversee the creation of post-campaign reports with relevant insights and KPIs, assist in formulating recommendations for clients and agencies
