Responsibilities:
- Ensure client funds are segregated and protected in line with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Regularly update client funds-related matters, including potential risks and control issues to the Group Head of Client Assets and Board.
- Work closely with client assets, operations, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure a cohesive client-fund protection approach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client funds-related queries and issues for the entity.
- Identify and report all incidents and breaches of the Client Funds protection regulations to the Group Head of Client Assets.
- Work with teams to develop and execute breach remediation plans, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain a robust framework to identify control gaps and weaknesses across the organization.
- Partner with relevant teams to enhance controls and minimize risks to client funds.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in CASS regulations and guide the firm on best practices.
