Description:
We have an exciting 12 month fixed term post - working within the Orthopaedic Outpatients team at York Hospital as a clinic Coordiantor.
The Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic Coordinator will support the Orthopaedic Service Manager with capacity and demand issues across the orthopaedic speciality and liaise with the relevant Directorate Management Teams as appropriate. They will undertake pro-active clinic support and management and work with Directorate Managers and Clinicians on all aspects of clinic templates, adopting best practice and service improvement techniques when possible. They will support a forward planning approach to meet targets across the Trust.
The Clinic Coordinators will work with the Service Manager on the implementation and maintenance of Outpatient booking systems, supporting service improvement strategies and helping to evaluate booking systems.

The Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic Coordinator will support the Orthopaedic service manager with clinic demand and capacity issues for Orthopaedic Outpatient Services across the Trust. They will help to support the patient’s pathway into the Outpatients Clinics by working on enhancing and improving services related to Outpatient clinics,
The Clinic Coordinator will provide integral support to the service manager by ensuring that clinics are utilised to maximum capacity and efficiency and will highlight areas of concern to operational service manager when appropriate. They will take a pro-active approach to Clinic utilisation by looking for procedures and processes to improve clinic management and to enable forward planning and evaluation.
