Responsibilities:

THE OPPORTUNITY: REPORTING TO THE DIRECTOR OF PRIMARY HEALTH CARE, THE CLINIC MANAGER PROVIDES A VITAL ROLE IN COORDINATING A DIVERSE PRIMARY CARE TEAM OVER MULTIPLE SITES PROVIDING LEADERSHIP NECESSARY FOR THE SUCCESS OF CSFS CLINICS. THE ABILITY TO MANAGE AND SUPERVISE THE MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT TEAM, INPUT MEDICAL INFORMATION AND ACCESS CONFIDENTIAL ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS (EMRS) IS A CORNERSTONE OF THIS POSITION.

  • Ensures clinical operations and program services at various clinic sites are delivered in an effective and efficient manner through clinical support services design, policies and procedures, management and leadership.
  • Oversees clinic protocols, practice improvement and project management.
  • Supervises MOA staff including hiring, onboarding and supporting administrative clinical staff day to day, creating MOA policy and standards, training and skill building.
  • Manages the everyday functions of the office including maintenance, ordering and oversight of supplies, furniture, equipment, and office spaces.
  • Identifies and provides clinical analysis, reviews and implements improvement plans that align with organizations goals and objectives.
  • Ensures standardization of clinic functioning, quality, safety and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensures primary care staff schedules are maintained and coordinated in order to maximize patient care.
  • Maintains a working and collaborative relationship with community Health Center staff.
  • Visits community Health Centers to determine any issues or concerns and supports standardization with CSFS clinic operations.
  • Prepares and sends statements/reports to funders and Health Authorities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Post-Secondary degree in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Diploma in relevant discipline or Medical Office Assistant Certificate; or
  • Five years recent medical office or health care administration experience
