Clinical Application Specialist - Nordic
Are you that professional consultant who assists surgeons and distributors by participating in live surgeries for promotional demonstrations or educational training involving DORC equipment? Do you have a background in providing onsite technical support? Are you experienced in cross-selling? Then read on and become one of our Clinical Application Specialist - Nordic.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Medical Sales or Clinical Applications role;
  • Experience in Ophthalmology highly advantageous;
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • Willing to spend at least 50% of your time travelling as required across your dedicated region in Norway;
  • Very good communication skills, self-motivated and be able to work independently;
  • Service oriented and familiar with operating theater protocol (how to react in the OT);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (also in English);
  • Excellent training and presentation skills;
  • A team player with a strong desire to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Train DORC end users (surgeons and nursing staff) to safely use DORC products, ensuring they meet their training commitments.
  • Support the installation of surgical equipment at various sites and provide demonstrations to doctors and hospital staff, highlighting cross-selling opportunities for instruments and liquids.
  • Provide technical support and field repairs and preventive maintenance for all DORC machines, addressing first-line defects as they arise.
  • Stay updated on new instruments, disposables, and surgical techniques to effectively promote and introduce new DORC products to clients.
