JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As the Clinical Application Specialist (CAS), you will deliver technical and clinical expertise within the Ultrasound portfolio by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end-users. You are a clinical expert supporting the pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support), as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. Candidates must be located proximally to a metropolitan, international airport. The candidate would be ideally located in Alberta or British Columbia.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- 5+ years of imaging experience in a diagnostic clinical setting, preferably a hospital environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays depending on business need.
- Ability to work flexible schedules as required by customer and business needs, including weekends.
- Working knowledge of electronic file management and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to teach and train in an effective and organized manner.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, for product troubleshooting.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
- Must be located proximally to a metropolitan, international airport.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and clinical leadership to customers by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed.
- Develop and deliver product training on equipment use to customers in General Imaging including Women’s Health, MSK and Interventional Ultrasound.
- Monitor customer installations of ultrasound products to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training.
- Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
- Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer.
- Provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs.
