JOB OVERVIEW:

The highly-skilled, and accomplished, care team at Trinitas Regional Medical Center supports a 38 Bed Medical Surgical Unit with a broad range of patient care needs, and often supports some higher acuity patients. The team is looking for a team member that has a love for the Medical Surgical specialty or someone who is eager to grow in a diverse and ever-changing patient area. Our Clinical Care Techs, an integral part of our patient s care and clinical team, provide emotional and clinical support to our patients and their families.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Evening Shift, 24 Hours per week [3:00PM 11:30PM]
  • Monday Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required
  • AHA BLS prior to start date required
  • Completion of a nursing fundamentals course and/or Certified Nursing Assistant program preferred
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred
  • Med Surg, Telemetry, and/or acute clinical experience desired

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Care Technician (CCT) provides direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CCT will promote and implement, in conjunction with the RN, the concept of patient and family-centered care. The CCT observes and reports patient s responses to intervention/treatment. They will greet and escort newly admitted patients, prepare patient environments for admission and/or transfer, and assure patients have appropriate identification bands on at all times. The CCT will also assist with feeding, bathing, and other duties associated with different patient care needs.
