Description:
YOUR FUTURE, AS A CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR AT MYDENTIST
You’ll be joining our Clinical support and development team within our Academy, which is in Manchester.
- The role is permanent and part time 2-3 days
- Based in our City Centre Academy with occasional travel.
- A brand new role to grow within the Academy function.
- Both Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria stations are within walking distance.
- Close to local amenities.
Your skills:
- To be a GDC Registered Dentist
- A minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience
- A Passion for supporting the learning and development of clinicians.
- Previous coaching experience or experience as a mentor, supervisor, or educational supervisor.
- Good influencing skills.
- The ability to embrace modern learning
Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Development Advisor you’ll be:
- Identifying clinical development needs for employed and self-employed clinicians which drive best practice, set out clinical standards and supports the creation of clinical development pathways.
- Owning the content and delivery of clinical induction for all clinicians joining the business.
- Creating and supporting content for peer review groups across CDA populations to support development, sharing of best practice, encourage communication and networking with a learning focus.
- Acting as a champion of the mydentist Academy working with the Clinical leadership team to prioritise development areas aligned with business and clinical needs.
- Building strong external networks and relationships to clinical education settings and training providers, bringing in external thinking and innovative learning solutions.
- Focusing on continuous improvement, trial new methods and technologies, drawing learning and insight quickly.
