Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing personalized dietary plans, and providing education on healthy eating habits. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient health outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in computer operation, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, including reviewing medical histories and dietary practices.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust dietary plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding nutrition, dietary restrictions, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with medical staff to integrate nutrition into overall patient care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Stay updated on the latest research in nutrition and dietetics to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Offer customer service support by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding dietary practices.
