Description:
THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT IS FOR 3 YEARS WITH MUTUAL RIGHT TO AGREE TO EXTEND.
Working in partnership with the General Managers, Clinical Nurse Directors, Clinical Heads and Service Managers you will ensure the delivery of a consistently high-quality patient centred service. You will also be responsible for working with the Districts Clinical Director Group and Clinical Governance Group to develop clinical policy to support the delivery of cancer services.
To be successful is this role you need to have an advanced body of knowledge and expertise related to specialities and the wider services spectrum, be able to provide professional advice to team members in relation to clinical/operational skills and practice and be able to understand the complexity of the multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:
Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora, Counties Manukau is looking for the next Clinical Director of Cancer Services. This is a part time role of 0.4 FTE where you will be responsible for leading the future development of the Cancer Services. You will lead the clinical team in the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical standards of medical practice and professional conduct throughout the Division and progress the transformation agenda as we work to further enhance Cancer services for the Counties Manukau community.
