Description:

DON’T JUST CHOOSE A JOB, CHOOSE GROWTH, CHOOSE POSSIBILITY, CHOOSE A CAREER WITH IVC EVIDENSIA IRELAND.

All our practices are independent, with their own unique work practices, caseloads, culture, and branding. No two practices are the same or run the same and that is just how we love it. Avenue Vets is no different.
Avenue Veterinary Hospital is a 100% small animal practice located in Dundalk Co Louth. Situated on the Northeast coast, famed for its local community, heritage history, thriving nightlife and local festivals, Dundalk is about 1 hour from Belfast and Dublin cities. It is accessible by the M1, train and bus. The local college, DKIT, boasts a well-known Veterinary Nursing course which continually produces excellent Veterinary Nurses each year.
Avenue Vets has been a dedicated companion animal practice for over 30 years in the local community. And now with a young and enthusiastic team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and support staff we are looking forward to a new team leader to help guide Avenue Vets into the future and put their own personal touch on the practice. Our purpose-built hospital includes a fully equipped surgical suite, laboratory, x-ray room, large treatment area, separate cat and dog wards, isolation unit and three consultation rooms. Our practice is spacious, giving a nice environment to work effectively and comfortably as part of a larger team.

IVC Evidensia is Europe’s leading veterinary care provider with 6 key principles we have built our business around:

  • Belief in people. The success of a practice is down to the individuals that work there. That is why we invest in continuous professional development for all our staff
  • Clinically led practices. We believe the best practices are led by vets, and we want it to stay that way. That is why we have so many of them sitting on our board.
  • Investment in your practice. We invest money in refurbishments, facilities, equipment, and technology so you can provide the best possible care for your patients and clients.
  • An independent spirit. Your clinic is the heart of your community, and we want it to stay that way. Every clinic has its own branding, community, and management.
  • Exceptional care. We know your primary concern is delivering the best possible care. That is why IVC Evidensia practices always put their patients and clients first.
  • Sharing expertise. We are incredibly proud of the depth of talent amongst our referral clinicians and their state if the art facilities.

Our core values are what make us a special place to work, where we enjoy what we do and work together to deliver exceptional veterinary care – these values inspire and motivate us. This is the basis of great teamwork – We Care, We Dare, We Share.
