Description:

About the role Imperial College School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Clinical Education Fellow to support equality, diversity and inclusion educational initiatives across the School’s undergraduate medical programme. What you would be doing You will be working closely with academics and students to embed EDI in the curriculum, review and develop teaching and assessment material, help develop, implement and evaluate projects, as well as deliver teaching to medical students throughout the six years of the MBBS programme. This post will provide a unique opportunity to develop a postgraduate portfolio during unique times of change, which will demonstrate your commitment to education in medicine. What we are looking for Registered with the GMC with a licence to practise Clinical experience to post-foundation year Experience of successful delivery of teaching Experience of successful delivery of EDI projects, preferably in a clinical or education setting Demonstrable evidence of an interest in and knowledge of medical education theory Ability to use information technology effectively (in particular the range of Microsoft Office programs) and to manage data intelligently Ability to work flexibly and as part of a multidisciplinary team in an open-minded and cooperative manner to manage and successfully deliver project outcomes Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to negotiate with staff at all levels Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills, working with minimal supervision Willingness to undertake any training necessary for this role, including training in digital systems and applications for supporting teaching, learning and assessment Collaborative working is a must, we are looking for team players What we can offer you The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
