Description:

The clinical educational lead focuses on the nursing, midwifery, AHP (NMAHP) and health sciences workforces. It is a broad and varied role providing leadership to support the vision of the organisation and to provide innovative and research-led education and development opportunities.
The role aims to ensure a consistent approach to the development of a highly skilled, motivated and engaged workforce no matter the educational route undertaken.
The role requires effective line management responsibilities for:
Nursing practice education facilitation team
Practice development team
Developing close collaborative working relationships with our
AHP workforce and education leads, professional advocate lead and many
other roles within the organisation.
The post holder will influence, drive and shape the future development and quality of the clinical learning environment at PAHT, by identifying key educational priorities and support the delivery of this to our clinical non-medical workforce.
THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH:
Leadership of the multi-professional education teams across the non-medical umbrella
Ensuring the adherence to the educational standards for all the non-medical professional bodies
Collaboratively working and developing relationships across the Trust, ICB, regionally and with our education providers

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.
We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
