Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an SpR-level (ST3+) Clinical Fellow in Haematology to join the Department of Haematology at University College Hospital for 12 months, starting in February 2025.
The postholder will be working with the haemostasis and thrombosis team, specifically in Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), and will be expected to actively participate in the clinical work including clinical trials.
The postholder will be expected to assist in the running of multicentre clinical trials-liaising with research authorities and clinical research teams. The postholder will be expected to analyse research data, undertake audits and work towards presentations and publications.
This post will provide excellent opportunities for a trainee to gain research and clinical experience specifically within haemostasis and thrombosis that will help them to develop their CV and enhance their career.

This is an exciting opportunity for the postholder to gain clinical experience in Haemostasis & Thrombosis, as well as developing essential research skills in clinical haematology.

THE POSTHOLDER WILL BE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SKILLS RELATING TO:

  • Support clinical work related to haemostasis and thrombosis, in particular TTP
  • Experience in clinical studies and trials
  • Support the TTP national network and the London and the SE England region.
