Description:

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Nursing, Social Work)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or post graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (working towards accreditation as with BABCP as a CBT Therapist).
  • Experience and expertise in CBT with children and young people (Desirable).
  • Experience and expertise of supervising others using a CBT model (Desirable).
  • Experience and expertise in delivery of teaching and training in CBT (Desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing risk in a range of clinical settings (Desirable).
  • Experience of working in a university setting
  • Experience of supporting students on placement at a placement agency
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team as well as able to take responsibility for organising your own activities and for the management of allocated resources
