Clinical Fellow Obs & Gynae

To work at junior registrar level in providing clinical care for women in the outpatient and inpatient setting. The expectation is that the post holder will able to develop their skills in obstetrics and gynaecology within the NHS and gain a vital grounding for future jobs. There will be annual appraisals and assessment of progress. The post holder would be expected to contribute to the post-graduate education for all grades of medical staff and nursing staff at regular Friday afternoon teaching.
There is a strong link with undergraduate teaching through the University of Bristol medical Academy. This currently involves delivery of several tutorial-based sessions throughout the year the post holder will be expected to contribute to these sessions. The post holder will be encouraged to mentor and appraise the physician associate recently started in the department
