The Position: Clinical Informatics Analyst
Employment Status: Full Time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 80
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 year degree in Nursing or Clinical Informatics
- 2 years of Epic Electronic Health Record utilization
- 2 years of clinical experience
- A degree in Clinical Informatics or related field or with at least 5 years or experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Current MT RN or LPN license or a degree in Clinical Informatics required.
- Clinical Informatics certification preferred but not required.
Sidney Health Center is seeking an Informatics Analyst to join our I CARE team in the Clinical Informatics setting. The Clinical Informatics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and integrating clinical information technology into daily practice to ensure optimal functionality of Sidney Health’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role serves as a key liaison between the IT department and clinical staff, including nurses, doctors, and support personnel. Key responsibilities include; Facilitating, building, problem-solving, and educating staff on EHR changes, providing orientation, ongoing training, and education for end users, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical informatics and application systems, directly participating in the development, implementation, training, and support of the EHR system in partnership with IT, clinical, and operational departments and assisting with the coordination and management of clinical data through the effective use of the EHR. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The Clinical Informatics Analyst reports to the Clinical Informatics Director.
