POSITION OVERVIEW

Calian is seeking a Clinical Specialist Instructor in the field of Med Tech to help support the design, development and delivery of Canadian Forces Health Services Group Training and Education programs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree OR post graduate diploma/certificate from a recognized Canadian

University of College or from an equivalent in the following occupation: Med Tech

• Must have completed a minimum of sixty training days within the last three years in instructing in military health services in the following occupation: Med Tech
• Holds the applicable military national qualifications identified below for the following occupations: Medical Technician:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bilingualism an asset
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance at the Reliability Level

• Instruct Clinical Specialty T&E Programs
• Develop lesson plans
• Prepare classing, equipment, job aids and learning tools for instruction
• Set up/break down of training requirements such as dismantling equipment, and classrooms
• Counsel and provide remedial Training and Education to students who are experiencing academic difficulties
• Assess students
• Advise on student performance
• Maintain student files and feedback notes
• Advise on the quality and efficiency of the instruction
