HLA Lab. Department of Pathology
Responsibilities:
Performs HLA Typing of patients and potential donors by molecular based methods. Monitors patients for the presence of HLA antibodies in their sera and determine their specificities. Performs flow crossmatches. Performs quality control and troubleshooting. Teaches and trains students. Performs the full range of duties from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting, in order to provide data for use in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in all areas of the lab. Responsible for reporting out test results accurately. Provide customer service to clients and providers. This position is for PM shift and the candidate will carry pager and be on-call.
