Description:
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. You will be the clinical lead to the outpatient pharmacy departments at Royal Free and Chase Farm Hospitals. The role will require to work cross site and may involve travel to other hospital sites within the Trust. You will need to be organised and well-motivated and have excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. The C linical Outpatient Lead Pharmacist assists the RFL Dispensary Services (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Free London Group) deputy superintendent and superintendent pharmacists in managing and coordinating the clinical pharmacy services for the company. This includes the responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day provision of outpatient pharmacy services, including allocation of staff and provision of cover in the event of sickness. Other duties include:
Leading on the training and induction of clinical pharmacy staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported to carry out their duties
Deputising for the deputy superintendent pharmacist in their absence
Collaborating with other senior staff to ensure the delivery of an integrated pharmacy service, assisting with the implementation strategic plans for the development of RFL Dispensary Services
Participating in medicine related clinical audit, research and development and development of trust-wide guidelines
