He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
The Bay of Plenty Addiction Service is seeking to recruit a Registered Health Practitioner to the Clinical Lead position with the team.
This is a leadership role and involves providing clinical advice and guidance to other staff within the team, overseeing referrals into the service, and being a point of contact with other services within the mental health and addictions sector. You will also hold a small case load of whaiora who require case management support for substance use.
Based at Tauranga hospital, we are a regional service that is part of the Adult Community Mental Health Services and we cover both the Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty. The Bay of Plenty Addiction Service comprises an Opioid Substitution Treatment Service, an Alcohol and Other Drugs Team, and a small forensic team based at Corrections and the Tauranga Court. Our Addictions service is a multidisciplinary team of Registered Health Professionals, Psychology, Psychiatry, Administrative Support and Leadership staff.
