Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Clinical Nurse to join the team at Wahroonga in Biloela. Our 65-bed facility specialises in residential, palliative and secure dementia care, offering personalised aged care services focused on individual wellbeing and an enriched quality of life.
Wahroonga is well connected to the local community and our residents and staff enjoy a fantastic place to work with beautiful surroundings and a positive culture.

As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participation and implementation of care delivery ensuring compliance with AN-ACC Funding and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Building strong relationships with staff, residents, families and stakeholders
  • Providing guidance and support to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants in the delivery of direct care to the residents
  • Assisting the Service manager and Care manager to achieve organisational targets
  • Contributing to the ongoing professional development of the team through effective leadership and mentoring
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
  • Participating in quality improvement activities and committed to improvements
