ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Older Persons Community Mental Health team.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As a Clinical Nurse in our Older Persons Community Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older individuals facing mental health challenges. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to improving the well-being and quality of life of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities include:

• conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalised care plans
• collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and holistic care
• providing counselling, education and support to clients and their caregivers
• advocating for the rights and dignity of older individuals with mental health concerns
• maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
