Responsibilities:
The CNS will report to the Nurse Manager of Cancer and Chronic Conditions. The team consists of Gynaecologists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, advanced trainee’s, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses and booking clerks.
The role will involve: nurse led clinics, encouragement of patient centred decision making, patient education, support and management of patients on systemic anticancer treatment, MDM support, education, nurse led assessment and review clinics, attendance at departmental meetings, professional development.
