As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you’ll will be responsible for supporting patients throughout their illness, from pre-diagnosis onwards. This is a varied role as we do not expect you to be a specialist in all three areas. If you are keen on learning this will be great opportunity for to widen your skills base.
You will be expected to build trust with Consultants and patients through multidisciplinary care coordination, you will assist in educating and counselling patients and families about their disease so they can make informed decisions about their care.
